Jazz, Lyrical & Swing!
Krystle Michelle Yacoubian has been dancing since she took her first Swing dance class at the age of 13. Since then she has studied Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Ballroom and other dance forms and has been choreographing since age 15. Krystle has received various awards in dance, some of which include the Moorpark College Merit Award for Ballet in 2004, MCSDC Strictly Swing 1st Place, Student Recognition awards in Jazz, Tap, and Dance Production, 1st Place in the 2011 High Desert Dance Classic Amateur Salsa Jack and Jill, 1st Place in the 2011 HDDC Strictly Swing and 5th Place in the 2011 U.S. Open Swing Dance Championship Team Division.
She has taught, performed and choreographed professionally over the last 7 years. She has an Associate of Arts Degree in Dance and an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts and an Associate of Science Degree in Exercise Science with a Fitness Specialist Certificate from Moorpark College. In May of 2008, she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Performing Arts with a Dance Emphasis from CSU Channel Islands. Krystle’s passion in life is to serve God with the talents He has given her. She wishes to pursue worship through dance ministry.
